I hope you got my Christmas card...are we ready for winter or what, girls?? I am dog- earring the cashmere pages in catalogs already!

If you thought I lost my mind...well, I did a long time ago! Stay with me though... I CAN get you moving through your Christmas cards in 10 minutes! Think of all the free time that would allow you in this upcoming super charged season! I am talking designed, stamped, stuffed, mailed...yes, ladies!! Sip a coctail and CONSIDERATE SENT!!

Okay, I did not believe it either folks...but my hubby had some friends who talked him into joining a network marketing travel agent thinga majiggy...but now I am getting jiggy with it...because we found out we can go to RIO and stay in a 5 star hotel with flight for 299.00 per person(honeymoon, anyone?)...let him find you travel or simply sign up yourself -- if you travel a lot its worth every penny! It basically has taken all the travel sites (expedia, hotwire, orbitz, etc...) and put them into one search engine -- way groovy! So...visit our slice of paradise for yourself, for some of the best savings on travel ever! You know you wanna! See ya at the sand!

Why have my own business...

I am loving my business. I am the runner when people start talking MLM or network marketing. However, this is nothing like it. I am not in it to get rich, although its blessing me with riches in spades -- the fuzzy feeling kind, the relationship rescue kind. Don't get me wrong...there is money to be made...however, "get rich quick" is like everything else you get quick - gone quick!

I am simply telling people that I have a card store and I want to encourage them to send cards too. They can have a retail site for as little as 25.00 a year, or start their own card coalition with me...either way, I am happy! I am also telling absolute truths. I do have to say...you have to love... to send cards, to say thanks, to see your business grow, and to touch lives! That is all this requires....

I worked for a billionaire or two as a private jet flight attendant...something they all had in common (besides their own cool planes) was that they did not wait...they siezed the moment. When one of my bosses wanted to see live streaming Indiana basketball games anywhere he went, he figured out a way to do it...so many have approached him and said, "you stole my idea." He says, "I put my idea into action, what did you do?" Of course these were comments made after YAHOO bought his company for mega money! He is a billionaire today and his advice to me was, "never wait to get your ducks in a row, or you never will get going." I believe that! So! Jump in! The water is fine!

I leave love notes all over the house for my husband...I like to do that. One day I was cleaning our room and came across the notes in his drawer -- he had saved them. I was very touched! We were married this past spring, and I took some of these notes and I put them in our wedding book. I know that in the future we will have hard times and stresses...but when it gets really tough, I will pull out these notes and remember how I felt those first few years, that first rush of love, and why I fell in love with him in the first place. That brings me to a great bit of advice from a lady married 42 years...what was her secret? "We never fell out of love at the same time!" She continued, that true love is that when one is feeling a little distant or has a wandering eye, the other is picking up the slack and reigning you in and vice versa." I love that! So, send a card a week with a little love in it and save it for those times when you are less than charmed! I love you, PB!
